Choosing a foot massager on Amazon.in is harder than it should be. Many listings share the same title words, and a fair number never say how long the warranty runs or how warm the heat gets.

We read 30 Amazon.in listings, shortlisted 19 and compared them on what each machine does and what its listing commits to in writing: power, programs, heat limit, warranty and what comes in the box. For 10 of the machines, from AGARO, Lifelong and Caresmith, we also checked the listing against the brand's own product page. Nobody here has had these machines in hand, so this is a reading of specifications, and we say where the information runs out.

Our pick for most homes is the AGARO Amaze (33320), a foot-and-calf machine that kneads, rolls, vibrates and warms, and lets you set the feet and calves separately. If you only want your feet done, the lighter AGARO 33158 lists its programs and power plainly. For legs worked on up to the thigh, Caresmith's air-compression sleeves (FCS0103) are a different kind of machine that wraps each leg from ankle to thigh.

Why it's on the list

  • Feet and calves set separately
  • 40°C heat limit stated
  • 1-year warranty stated

Worth knowing

  • The listing and AGARO's page describe manual settings only. If you want preset programs that run by themselves, the AGARO Rejoice lists 3 automatic modes.
  • AGARO's page for the Amaze says the calf and foot functions can each be used alone or combined, but gives no heat temperature, no wattage and no tilt angle. The 40°C, 80W and 45-degree figures come from the Amazon.in listing alone, though AGARO's page for the Rejoice states the same three.
  • Neither the listing nor AGARO's page spells out what comes in the box. The listing's box-contents field reads only "Agaro HCD".

Skip it if you want strong heat, or a machine light enough to carry between rooms every day.

The reasoning

You put your feet and calves into the machine: kneading pads work along the calves and feet, rollers sit under the soles, and vibration and gentle heat run on top. What separates it from the other foot-and-calf machines, on paper, is that the feet and calves are set separately. The listing gives the foot section and the calf section 3 intensity levels each, and AGARO's own page says each function can be used on its own or combined. Its two closest rivals here, the AGARO Rejoice and the Lifelong LLM99, list automatic and manual or preference programs but say nothing about setting feet and calves apart.

The listing calls the heat lukewarm. AGARO's listing puts the maximum at 40°C and says outright that anyone wanting more heat should look elsewhere. We'd rather have a plain limit like that than a heat button with no number attached, which is what several other listings on the shortlist offer.

AGARO's own page and the listing agree on the practical details: a 15-minute auto shut-off, foot sleeves that come off for washing, side handles, a weight of 12 kg 500 g and a 1-year warranty. The listing adds that the warranty covers manufacturing defects only, and gives 80W and a tilt of up to 45 degrees so you can sit back. One small mismatch: the customer-care number has two digits swapped between them (9281486487 on AGARO's page, 9821486487 on the listing). Both give the same email, info@uclindia.com, and the listing also gives a toll-free number, 18001207897, so use one of those rather than either 10-digit number.

AGARO's own Rejoice came very close. It shares the 80W power, the 40°C heat limit and the 45-degree recline, and adds 3 automatic modes. We chose the Amaze because setting the feet and calves separately seems the more useful difference from day to day. If you'd rather press one button and let it run, the Rejoice is worth a look.

If you only need your feet done

AGARO Shiatsu Foot Massager (33158)

AGARO · Pick 2 of 3

A lighter, foot-focused kneading machine whose programs, power and warranty are all spelled out, for people who don't need the calves done every time.

Worth knowing

  • Neither the listing nor AGARO's page mentions heat. If warmth matters, the Lifelong LLM81 in the ruled-out list below is a foot-focused machine that states its heat limit (45 degrees on its listing and on Lifelong's page).
  • The model-number field on the listing shows a long part number in spreadsheet notation (8.90605E+12). Match the 33158 in the title and the Model Name field instead.
  • AGARO's own page doesn't state a warranty term. The 1 year comes from the Amazon.in listing.

Skip it if you want heat, or want your calves done without shifting the machine around.

The reasoning

This is a low, foot-focused machine (58.5 x 33.5 x 27.2 cm on both the listing and AGARO's page) that kneads and rolls the soles. It is lighter than the Amaze and draws less power, at 40W against 80W and 6 kg 900 g against 12 kg 500 g, and neither the listing nor AGARO's own page mentions heat or vibration.

What it does have is a clear set of programs, listed on both AGARO's page and the Amazon.in listing: 4 automatic modes, 3 custom modes aimed at the toes, the arch and the sole, and a manual mode with adjustable speed and two rolling directions. The listing also says it can be used from a chair or lying on a bed to work on the calves, arms and hamstrings. The cover comes off for washing, and it switches off after 15 minutes.

Two other foot-focused machines came close. Lifelong's LLM81 adds heat, up to 45°C on Lifelong's own page, but its listing doesn't say how many programs it has or whether the cover washes. The AGARO Grand (33270) is listed on Amazon.in with heat, but AGARO's own page for it doesn't mention heat, and that page's feature list is word for word the same as the 33158's, so it's hard to tell what the Grand adds. Lifelong's LLM72 and LLM73 list the same 4 automatic programs and 3 custom modes, but we didn't check either against Lifelong's own pages, and the LLM73 gives no heat figure. We'd rather recommend the machine whose listing and brand page agree.

Caresmith Leg Compression Massager (FCS0103)

Warranty
Not on the listing; Caresmith's page shows a "12-Month Warranty" badgeCaresmith product page

Worth knowing

  • The Amazon.in listing gives no warranty term. Caresmith's page carries a "12-Month Warranty" badge but no warranty line in its product details, so ask Caresmith (support@caresmith.com) to confirm the term for an Amazon.in purchase before ordering.
  • Neither the listing nor Caresmith's page gives a maximum thigh or calf size for the sleeves.
  • It's listed on Amazon.in as the Caresmith "Charge". Caresmith's own page is headed "Leg Compression Massager" and gives the item name as "Revive Leg Compression Massager", though "Charge" also appears in labels further down that page. Match the model number, FCS0103, which is the same on both.

Skip it if what you want is your soles kneaded, since it squeezes the leg rather than rolling the feet.

The reasoning

No rollers here. Each leg goes into a sleeve that inflates and deflates in 4 zones: thigh, upper calf and knee, lower calf, and ankle and foot. It won't knead your soles the way the AGARO machines do, so think of it as a different kind of massage rather than a bigger version of the same one.

Its controller offers 4 modes and 8 intensity levels, which the listing gives as 20 to 240 mmHg, plus a timer of 10, 20 or 30 minutes. The listing also says it adjusts how long it inflates and deflates to the size of your legs. At 2 kg 300 g it is much easier to put away than the 12 kg 500 g Amaze.

Caresmith's own page gives the net quantity as 2 leg sleeves, a power adapter and a user manual (the controller isn't itemised). The Amazon.in listing doesn't state a warranty term, and the page's product details don't give a term either. What the page does show is a "12-Month Warranty" badge beside "Expert Approved" and "Thoughtfully Designed". Lifelong's LLM18 air-pressure wrap has a listing that states its warranty more clearly (1 year, plus 6 months if you register within 15 days), but neither its listing nor Lifelong's page says how many wraps come in the box, and it offers 3 pressure levels to the Caresmith's 8.

What we ruled out

  • Lifelong LLM99 foot, calf and leg massagerA close call. Lifelong's page confirms 80W from 4 motors, 3 automatic and 3 custom programs, two removable covers and a 1-year brand warranty. Its Amazon.in listing gives no heat temperature (a Lifelong support answer puts it at 40°C), and neither source mentions a tilt or separate settings for feet and calves, both of which the AGARO Amaze lists.
  • Lifelong LLM81 foot massager with heatIf you want warmth in a foot-focused machine, this is the one to look at: its listing says heat goes up to 45 degrees, and Lifelong's page says 45°C, a 40W motor and a 1-year brand warranty. It lost to the AGARO 33158 because its listing doesn't say how many programs it has or whether the cover can be washed.
  • Lifelong LLM1098 foot and calf massagerIts heat figure depends on where you read it. The Amazon.in listing says up to 42 degrees, and Lifelong's own page says up to 60°C. Neither the listing nor Lifelong's page gives a warranty term.
  • RoboTouch OrtholiteIt reaches the feet, calves, knees and thighs and states a 1-year onsite warranty, but it weighs 22 kg 500 g, and both its model-number and model-name fields read only "RM" (the title calls it the Ortholite). For thigh coverage, the Caresmith is listed at 2 kg 300 g.
  • Rylan R5 shiatsu foot massagerOn the listing, the warranty field reads "No". Much of its feature text is word for word the same as the YOGIMOONI and ZYNTO listings on the shortlist, and ZYNTO's title gives its warranty as 2 months.
  • Lifelong LLM927 EMS foot matA thin rechargeable mat (185 g) that works by electrical pulses (EMS); its 8 modes carry names like knead and scrape, but the listing describes no rollers or motor. Neither the listing nor Lifelong's page gives a warranty term, and the listing contradicts itself on power, calling it corded electric in one field and cordless in another.

Before you buy

  1. Choose the type first

Roller machines such as the AGARO Amaze and 33158 knead and roll the feet. Compression sleeves like the Caresmith inflate around the leg. EMS mats like the Lifelong LLM927 work by EMS (electrical muscle stimulation), and AGARO's Royal foot spa (33619) is a heated water tub with rollers. These are different experiences, so settle on the kind before comparing models.

  2. Look for a heat number

The AGARO Amaze and Rejoice listings cap heat at 40°C, and both the LLM81's listing and Lifelong's page give 45 degrees. Several heated listings give no figure at all, and for the LLM1098 the listing (42°C) and Lifelong's page (60°C) disagree. If warmth is the point for you, pick a machine that states it.

  3. Find the warranty term

AGARO's Amazon.in listings give 1 year and say the warranty "takes care of only manufacturing defect of the product". Rylan's warranty field says "No", ZYNTO's title says 2 months, and 6 of the 19 shortlisted listings don't state a term at all. Where the listing is silent, check the brand's own page before you order.

  4. Foot size is guesswork

None of the 19 shortlisted listings gives a maximum foot or shoe size. If your feet are large, check the seller's return terms before ordering a closed, boot-style machine.
